Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe
Join us for a national remembrance to honour those who lost their lives while serving their country between 1939 and 1945.
We will meet in the Village Hall and enjoy a *fish and chips supper before we gather around a bonfire at the top of Griffin Lane for readings and live music by Chris Luck and Linna Willing.
As part of the National Beacon celebration, we will also light Peace Lamps.
Thursday May 8th at 7.30pm for supper in the Hall.
Music at 9pm, Beacon lighting at 9.30pm.
